December 20, 2010 Christmas Traditions: Easy Velveeta Fudge
I know what your thinking. . .cheese in fudge?! It is sooo good. Another of our Christmas Traditions.
1 stick of butter
1/4 lb velveeta cheese
1/4 cup cocoa (powder), sifted
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
Melt butter and cheese over low/medium low heat.
Add and mix the next two ingredients.
Slowly add the powdered sugar, stirring well.
I recommend using a whisk to stir because as it thickens, it becomes more difficult to incorporate the sugar. Pour into an 8×8-inch buttered pan. Chill before serving. Cut into bite size pieces.
