One Husband, One Wife, Five Children and Everything in Between

Yesterday I took the kids on a day camp to the Arbuckle Mountains. It was a terrific day of hiking and other fun activities all packed in to one day. We were so exhausted when we got home that I broke my goal in trying to blog everyday.

One of the hikes we took was a two-mile hike. There were gorgeous springs and hike straight up a mountain. There is still debate about if it was a mountain or not. For Oklahoma, they were big mountains. Of course it felt like a mountain when we were on top. Everyone of those terrific kids of mine did it, and they had so much fun too. It reminded me of  one of my favorite verses in Habakkuk.

This is a picture from the bottom of the mountain. Everyone felt a little nervous and overwhelmed.

This was taken from the top. That greenish water below is one of the springs we saw. It really is that color green and SO clear. We were all rejoicing when we made it to the top.

This is about half way up. Look at those grins. The Baby is next to me.
