This is a story I made up from our most recent trip to the zoo.
There once was a family of elephants. The Auntie, Momma, and Baby.
It was a hot summer day, and Baby wanted to play in the mud.
Auntie patiently waited in the hot summer sun.
Meanwhile, Baby enjoyed the squishy, slippery mud.
Mother, aware that all eyes were on her, decided to wait behind the rock.
"You have 5 more minutes," Mother graciously warned. "Auntie is waiting to go."
"Ahh, Mom," Baby replied. "The mud is so much fun!"
Before she knew it, 5 minutes were up. The fun in the mud had to end.
They gathered their things. It was time to go.
"Did you have fun, dear?" Auntie asked as they slowly strolled away. With a great grin Baby replied, "Yes, thank you Auntie and Momma."
